Harlem’s Tiger King, Taking a Flame to Your Ear Hair and a Look at the ‘Beastie Boys Story’

Tiger King is, inarguably, the biggest TV show of quarantine. It’s a massive, stunning success for Netflix, a show that somehow turns a cult leader, a drug dealer and a one-legged hillbilly into bona fide anti-heroes. No doubt, then, some idiot is going to try and become the next Joe Exotic. And raising a tiger might work out for a while — until it doesn’t, and you wind up like the guy who ended up a meal for the Siberian tiger he was raising in his Harlem apartment.
