If Viagra Makes You Harder, Does It Make You Bigger, Too?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Given that Viagra works by increasing blood flow to your penis, one might optimistically assume that Viagra can also make the penis bigger by, say, plumping it up a bit. But is that what really happens?

Uhhh, no.

“Viagra doesn’t enhance the size of your penis, nor does it lead to a fuller looking penis,” confirms Michael Ingber, urologist at Garden State Urology and medical director of COR Medspa.

FWIW: Some people do report that Viagra makes them think they’re bigger, perhaps because they weren’t previously achieving full erections. But again, there’s no evidence to support the claim that their penis is actually any larger than it was before. Viagra is only designed to help you get and maintain an erection, not add a couple of inches (or even a couple tenths of an inch) to the proceedings.

However! If you’re totally desperate to enhance your size down there, Ingber does recommend two potential treatments. While Z Wave Therapy is often used for erectile dysfunction or Peyronie’s, the shockwave treatment can “increase the vascularity and blood flow, which has been shown to improve erections,” he explains. Alternatively, some people have found success with the P-Shot, in which one’s own stem cells are injected into the penis. It probably won’t make you any longer, but it might make you a bit girthier.

Or finally, you can just be accepting of what you’ve got. Easier said than done, I know, but there’s a good chance you’re the only one who cares. So don’t let Viagra’s inability to make you bigger stop you from enjoying the boner at hand.
